From busy days on the job to winding down with family and her dog, our new wastewater/admin support, Emma Hall, shares a glimpse into life at HydroVac and what she’s enjoying most about the role so far.

Q. What made you want to work for HydroVac? 
A. I wanted to try something new, and I liked that there’s a good work community here. 
 
Q. What excites you about your role? 
A. No day is the same!  
 
Q. What did you do before HydroVac? 
A. I worked as a retail shop assistant and in customer service roles.  

Q. What’s surprised you about HydroVac so far? 
A. I’ve been surprised by how busy it can get some days, but I really like how everyone works together to get the job done. 

Q. What are the priorities, now that you’re in the role? 
A. Processing payroll, making sure the wastewater technicians have jobs booked job, to upskill and learn more and take everything on offer from the company to help me learn and grow.  

Q. Tell us about your family/home life… 
A. I like to spend time with my family and my dog, a lab cross named Hugo.

Q. How do you relax?  
A. Spending time with my dog and watching tv shows and long drives on back roads.

Q. What would surprise us about you? 
A. I can be quiet at first, but I make up for it with sarcastic commentary once I warm up.
