We were proud to be the headline sponsor of the HydroVac Woodhill 100, which took place back in June 2022 on Queen’s Birthday Weekend.
Around 50 competitors took part in the iconic event which saw drivers complete 160km (100 miles) over a 11km course through Auckland 4X4 Adventure Park at Woodhill Forest.
HydroVac chose to sponsor the event because it’s a great local event, being in West Auckland, and we saw it as a great way to give back to the community we work in. It’s NZ’s oldest and fastest course and a well-organised event to be a part of.
We enjoyed seeing lots of our customers out watching, participating and being a part of the off-road scene. It was also cool to see Lily Williams, the daughter of MD Andrew Williams, getting in amongst the action, racing in the mini Cougar Race Cars Kiwitrucks division, while Andrew helped with setting up and running the event as well as MCing the prizegiving. His S class Canam race car was driven by Neville Smith but unfortunately encountered mechanical issues.
