Today, we introduce you to HydroVac operator Brian Dooley by running him through our short Q&A:

Q. Brian, what do you enjoy about your role?
A. The early starts. I love getting up early and cracking into it.

Q. What did you do before HydroVac?
A. I was back home in Scotland, cleaning tanks.

Q. Favourite lunch/smoko meal?
A. Chicken sandwiches.

Q. Tell us about your home life…
A. I’m settling into life in NZ. Spare time is spent exploring NZ with my partner or in the gym.

Q. What would surprise us about you?
A. Despite being a Scotsman, I do not play the bagpipes or like haggis.
