We’ve welcomed Glenn Williams back to the Auckland team as our customer services manager, after a few years of working elsewhere. We ran him through our Q&A to get to know him better…
Q: What made you want to take on this new role at HydroVac?
I worked for Hydrovac approximately 3 years ago – I know and like how GM Dave works so it was an easy decision for me.
Q: What excites you about your role?
The company and the investment they put into the team to make the company better for all.
Q: What did you do before HydroVac?
I spent 14 years in the transport industry ranging from ops manager for a bus company to logistics manager for a construction/civil works company to operations team manager in a container company.
Q: What has surprised you about HydroVac?
The growth they’ve had in the past three years. When I was last here they had 19 trucks and now there’s 26!
Q: Tell us about your home life…
I have been married for 9 years and have 2 grandkids. As we are a working household; if we are not at work most of our time is spent with family or unwinding with a drink.
Q: How do you relax?
Having a cold one or taking my girls out.
Q: What would surprise us about you?
Not much — a spade is a spade with me!
