At HydroVac, we’re big on providing employees with training and the chance to upskill. We’re always looking for courses, certifications and workshops that will suit our team, to keep them learning and challenging themselves.
For almost two years, we’ve supported Jess Ford and Riky Hart through a payroll training plan through NZPPA (NZ Payroll Practitioners Association). They’ve attended three training courses to learn more about payroll processing, payroll laws, and employment laws and legislation in NZ and implemented many changes in the business to ensure compliance and education about upcoming changes in legislation.
We’re so proud of the efforts they’ve put in. Jess is about to sit her Level 3 Certification exam and Riky will sit her Level 5, which will give Hydrovac the highest level of certification possible.
The pair are now extremely knowledgeable and competent in Taxation Law, NZ Payroll Law, Employment Law, Holidays Act 2003 and Privacy Act 1993 and able to correctly and proficiently complete payroll for our growing team of 60.
