At Hydrovac we pride ourselves on keeping up with the latest regulations and legal requirements. Ahead of the 1st April 2019 IRD payroll and law changes, our administration manager Riky Hart and invoicer/administrator Jessica Ford have completed Level 2 Payroll Certification and are now Certified Payroll Practitioners!
New Zealand Payroll Practitioners Association (NZPPA) recommends all payroll personnel complete the certifications stages (which is made up of five levels) to future-proof the industry. Employers, external agencies and the payroll industry want more accountability placed on payroll and payroll employees to ensure compliance with law, use of payroll best practice, and cost effectiveness for every business.
We were very keen to send our team through the certification process to ensure our team are upskilled and at the forefront of payroll best practice.
Congrats to Riky and Jess, who received certificates and treats including an engraved pen, mug and badge to wear when attending future payroll events and training!
