Auckland Council’s Healthy Waters has partnered with HydroVac to offer a subsidised review for Muriwai homeowners with on-site waster systems. 

The Muriwai Stream On-site Wastewater Maintenance Initiative aims to:

• Identify performance issues and advise of any remedial action required and retrofitting opportunities to improve system performance
• Provide information about how wastewater systems work and potential issues to look out for
• Help households understand the impacts of a leaky system on their – and neighbouring – properties 

If you are an eligible Muriwai resident, the subsidy will bring the maintenance review appointment down by 50% to just $50. This is available for both primary and secondary systems.
