In October, our Canterbury HydroVac division successfully mapped the stormwater drainage systems for three rural schools on the West Coast, identifying problem areas and providing cost estimates to repair.
Our efficient process of writing the inspection report, taking snapshots and finally integrating everything into one file for each school, onsite and directly from the camera system, meant a fast turnaround for the estimates to be approved.
The team will head in the week before Christmas to help local contractors perform the repairs, dodging new landslips as they go. With the lower West Coast newly cut off by landslides, one school must wait until January for their repairs.
